Procedure done

Mom had a drain put into her abdomen this morning. It was not a pleasant procedure but it went well. Mom is in recovery right now and is booked to stay overnight. Pray that Mom recovers ok from this and has a good night.

About This Blog

When my mom, Tina Visscher, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the summer of 2008, we had no idea what was ahead of us. Recently, Mom went into the hospital as the cancer has advanced.

I am one of Mom and Dad's six kids, and she'd like me to share with you about our journey. Mom is insanely proud of all her kids and especially her 14 (almost 15!) grandkids.

Mom wants me to describe our "journey filled with a wonderful hope, tears of joy and pain, crazy fun, loving interactions. And some of the medical good and not-so-good stuff too."
